Ontario’s new law banning emailing and talking into hand-held cellphones and BlackBerrys while driving won’t take effect until late October, according to Transportation Minister Jim Bradley. Exemptions, such as leeway for truckers, will be considered. The law will be phased in gradually with police issuing warnings for the first few months.
